Well, what can I say? This was probably the most stupid, yet rewarding thing I've done to date. Jake & I ran in a very stacked Duo Pro class, we figured that there were at least six teams fighting for three podium spots. When the dust settled around lunchtime on Sunday, good buds Carpenter and Bucky grabbed on the top spot with Jake and me in second place and semi-local strongmen Andy and Chris rounding out the box in third. Our race was tight, 1st to 3rd gap held steady at around 20-30 minutes until mid morning when things finally began to settle out. Never thought the racing would stay that close. Big shout of thanks to Barry and Eric who ran our pit, Jake & I never woulda done it without you two fools!
